POM

Spring Hill College Public Safety offers a personal safety device for purchase called the POM from the Peace of Mind Company. The POM, a keychain-sized device, allows students to contact Public Safety with the push of a button, enabling our personnel to respond immediately in the case of any emergency. We have installed and trained our dispatchers on specially-designed software to receive POM calls, which will show the student's location, picture and profile information.

R.A.D.

The Rape Aggression Defense System is a program of realistic, self-defense tactics and techniques. It is a comprehensive course for women that begins with awareness, prevention, risk reduction and avoidance, while progressing on to the basics of hands-on defense training.  RAD is not a martial arts program.
