Spring Hill College Department of Public Safety
The Spring Hill College Public Safety Department mission is to provide a safe and secure environment while respecting the rights and dignity of all individuals. The safety and well-being of our students, faculty and staff is imperative for a school to be operated. We strive to provide excellent service to our students, staff, and faculty with fairness and understanding while keeping in line with our Jesuit mission of Cura Personalis. Even with safety measures in place, a truly safe campus can only be achieved through the cooperation of students, faculty, and staff.
Core Values:
Integrity: We demonstrate honesty, respect, and equality through our actions for others in our Spring Hill community. Honesty is the key to holding private and personal trust.
Accountability: Members of Public Safety will be held accountable for their conduct, performance, and actions.
Service: We are committed to improving Public Safety and increasing the sense of security on campus.
Teamwork: It is important that as Public Safety and other members of Spring Hill we work and interact together in order to provide the best form of safety. We should act on what is in the best interest of the Spring Hill community.
We are committed to leveraging partnerships within law enforcement to better the Spring Hill community. This commitment involves police officers with experience in the field to be on campus at all times in order to serve for the staff, students, and guests of Spring Hill College. The officers will have cameras with audio on their equipment in order to provide the best form of fairness on campus. Having police officers is a great stepping stone to our public safety and we will continue to improve the safety of our school.
Each member of our department staff is committed to working with all constituent groups on campus, with the goal of becoming better acquainted with the people we serve. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our office at 251-380-4444
