I-GIFT submissions should be mission- or Ignatian- pedagogy-based successful, class-tested assignments or activities tied to class learning objectives in any discipline. Submissions may stem from traditional and nontraditional classroom settings, including teaching outside of the classroom or online teaching. Eligible projects must have been completed within the previous two years.

To apply for I-GIFT, submit the following:

1. a ONE-PAGE, single-spaced description of the teaching idea that includes
      a. the rationale for the assignment,
      b. the student learning goals,
      c. the connection to Ignatian pedagogy or the College mission, and,
      d. if available, any evidence or assessment of student learning.
2. The assignment/instructions and any necessary examples.

The ENTIRE SUBMISSION should be in ONE PDF FILE, not exceeding FOUR total pages.

PROCESS:
Submissions will be reviewed annually by a committee of peers with one designated as the Best Ignatian GIFT.  The Best I-GIFT award winner will receive a physical award, a cash prize (as available), and publication of the one-page summary on the SHC I-GIFT website. Up to two additional submissions will be selected for acknowledgement and publication on the SHC I-GIFT website.
