Michael X. Wang was born in Fenyang, China.  His areas of interest include creative writing: fiction, postcolonial and Asian literature, and rhetoric and composition.  His work has appeared or is forthcoming in New England Review, Hayden’s Ferry Review, Prick of the Spindle, Day One, Juked, Driftwood Press, and Drafthorse, among others.  He is finishing a novel titled Lost in the Long March, which is set during the Chinese revolution.
