The Motley is Spring Hill College’s student art and literature magazine, annually publishing creative writing and visual art produced by Spring Hill students.
A campus fixture for over 70 years, The Motley not only provides a platform for students to leave their undergraduate programs with a publication credit, but, as an on-campus club, offers students a chance for extra-curricular experiential learning. Students serve as readers, editors, book designers, graphic artists, and promoters, working together to build a beautiful print and online publication and cultivating a community of readers, writers, and artists outside of a classroom setting. English and Writing majors/minors as well as students across all disciplines are encouraged to participate.
