In 2011, the Comm Arts department received the opportunity to use the former WHIL facility and equipment in curriculum and programming. Comm Arts and Graphic Design relocated to the Integrated Multimedia Center, located on the second floor of the Lucey Administrative Center.

Local radio personality Catt Sirten, a former general manager of WHIL was recruited to help with the effort. He and a core group of students worked through spring 2012 and fall 2012 to lay a foundation for student-run internet radio at SHC.

With a nod to departmental history, students selected Top of the Hill or as the site name. Students are creating podcasts and soon, will be streaming internet programming.
