Stephen Savage, is an artist, educator and champion for photography in South Alabama. He has a lengthy exhibition list of his personal work and shows produced by him or in collaboration.
He has offered classes and workshops across the United States. He has edited several books on the arts, and was awarded the Visual Arts Fellowship in Photography from the Alabama State Council on the Arts in 2001.
Savage is a professional and editorial photographer, voted Best of the Bay by readers of Mobile Bay Monthly. His work has been featured in the New York Times, Washington Post, Oxford American, AARP, Garden and Gun, Cooking with Paula Deen and many other fine publications.
Most recently, in 2012, he gave a series of lectures about Bahamian artist, Amos Ferguson, in Nassau, The Bahamas.
