Competition
The women’s rugby team competed for the first time ever in the Fall 2013 with an impressive 28 women roster. The team continues to grow, compete and improve as it enters its first official season.
Practice & Games
Practice is held Tuesday and Thursday from 4pm-6pm on Dorn field. A player only needs soccer cleats and a mouth guard to join. The rugby team competes in both the fall and spring, games take place on Saturday afternoons.
Community
Outside of the pitch, the team works closely with the men’s team and takes part in growing the game of rugby at the youth/HS levels around the Mobile area. Each team member partakes in running Rookie Rugby on local area schools, YMCA’s, etc.
Scholarships
Spring Hill is one of the only colleges in the United States that offers scholarship opportunities for incoming students. Anyone can join at any time, no experience necessary.
