The Men's Club Soccer team competes in the Southeast Collegiate Soccer Alliance (SCSA) Gulf Coast Division. Teams in their conference include Auburn University, Mississippi State University, Ole Miss, Samford University, University of Alabama and the University of Memphis.
Their primary season is in the fall, where they play around 10 games both at home and on the road. They play a handful games in the spring along with a weekend tournament at the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL.
Practice & Game Schedule
The Men's Club Soccer team typically practices 3-4 times a week while in season and 2 times a week in the spring. Sessions are about an hour and a half long, and they play a lot of short-sided games. Club soccer practices on Library Field when the varsity teams are not training and on Dorn Field (intramural field) as needed.
Games are usually on Sundays, both in the fall and spring. Club soccer splits their games, playing half at home and half on the road (traveling by coach bus). All travel related expenses are covered by the program.
