Dr. Allyn Schoeffler earned a Ph.D. in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley in 2009. Her dissertation research was in the fields of biochemistry and structural biology with a focus on DNA topoisomerases. Dr. Schoeffler then spent 5 years working as a Senior Research Associate at Genentech in the Department of Early Discovery Biochemistry in California. Originally from Ponchatoula, Louisiana, Dr. Schoeffler attended LSU and in 2002 received a bachelor's degree in Biochemistry with minors in chemistry, English, and French.
